Mission Space: Engineering Camp

Join us for an out-of-this world adventure as we discover the wonders of space and the engineering behind space exploration. Whether your kids are dreaming of becoming astronauts, engineers, or scientists, they'll love this engaging way to spend fall break. Campers will use the engineering design process to build and test space missions, from determining how to escape Earth’s atmosphere to constructing hovercrafts, rovers, and more!

About

Fall Fusion Mini-Camp at the University of Arizona is a fall break camp in Tucson featuring science activities, arts and crafts, exploration of science exhibits, and planetarium shows for kids in grades 2nd through 5th. All sessions are taught by educators with a passion for inspiring a love of learning and fun!

Dates

Two-day sessions:

  • 2nd - 3rd grades: Tuesday and Wednesday, October 8th-9th
  • 4th - 5th grades: Thursday and Friday, October 10th-11th

Times

Drop off time: 8:30 to 9:00 a.m. 

Camp Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pick up time: 4:00 to 4:30 p.m.

Cost

Non-Member Rate: $125

Flandrau Member Rate: $110
