3:20 PM - Artemis II launch livestream (tentative!) + "Forward to the Moon"
LAUNCH AND LIVESTREAM ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION BY NASA.
Join us in the planetarium to watch the Artemis II launch livestream (if it occurs), followed by the fulldome film Forward! To the Moon, which explores NASA’s plans to return humans to the Moon and prepare for future missions to Mars.
Artemis II will be NASA’s first crewed Artemis mission, sending astronauts on a journey around the Moon to test systems for future exploration.
Your ticket also includes access to science exhibits from 10 AM–5 PM. A live mission update talk may follow, time permitting.
Note: Tickets are nonrefundable. If the launch is scrubbed, tickets can be used for a future Artemis II livestream. The planetarium show about the mission will proceed regardless of whether the launch is delayed or not.
Happy University of Arizona Museum Day!
Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium will be offering all-day discounted admission of $7 for exhibits or $14 planetarium shows! Come celebrate with us!
Discounted tickets do not include our Laser Light Music Night shows.
