Areas and Costs Per Hour
Science Center Exhibit Halls
- $850 base rate. Includes 2 hours. $300 for each additional hour.
- Add a planetarium show or your own PowerPoint/presentation for $200/hour (all A/V equipment included).
- 1 hour is given before and after for setup and cleanup
- Additional setup/cleanup time can be purchased at $50 per hour
- Standard cocktail style reception set up available
- Customized layouts may be accommodated for an additional fee
- 100 guest maximum for receptions
- Access to both exhibit hall floors included
- Additional $100 staffing fee to have Undersea Discovery exhibit open
- Events must be held after public hours
- Seated meals currently only available in lower level (call for occupancy)
- Seated meals not available on main science exhibit level.
- Tables and linens can be provided for an additional fee
- Order must be placed at least 15 business days prior to event date or rush fee may apply and/or no guarantee of availability
- Catering and bar selections must be coordinated and paid by customer
- $50 fee for any event requiring a bar
- $350 non-refundable deposit required to book/confirm event
Eos Planetarium Theater
- $500 base rate. Includes 2 hours. $200 for each additional hour (with the theater as your main event location).
- Half hour is given before and after for set up and clean up
- Additional time and/or practice time can be purchased at $50 per hour
- Practice time is dependent on availability of space and staff
- Slides, videos, etc. must be received at least 48 hours in advance of event. If using your own computer, adaptor/connection needs to be communicated at least 48 hours in advance.
- Half hour is given before and after for set up and clean up
- Events should be held outside of public hours. There is an extra fee for events held during public business hours.
- After Hours show only is $200 per hour space rental (for theater use only) plus group rate ($17 to $20 per person depending on your organization type).
- Group rate depends on the type of group requesting the event, see Group Visit Page.
- Strict NO food and drink policy
Mezzanine, Dinosaur Room, or Insect Room
- $150 for first hour. $100 for each additional hour.
- Half hour for set up and clean up
- Setup and clean up must also fall within business hours
- Spaces are priced separately
- Maximum 30 guests per room
- $200 per hour for events after hours
