Located on the mall of the University of Arizona campus, Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium offers hands-on exhibits and planetarium shows to inspire future scientists and ignite everyone's curiosity.
Explore our vast and fascinating universe through seven different exhibits covering insects, sharks, Mars, planetary science and more. Add an amazing full-dome show in the planetarium theater to your day and you’ll feel like you’re flying through space as you launch from the earth and visit planets, moons, stars and asteroids.
Group rates are only available when scheduled in advance online.
Unscheduled groups of ten or more will be charged regular admission per person.
Science Center Exhibits
Explore what lurks in our oceans and what crawls under our feet in our shark and bug exhibits. Wild World of Bugs reveals our connections to the diverse and interesting lifeforms that, however small, play a huge role in shaping life as we know it. Universe of Science uses interactive games and interviews with researchers to help us all see our selves in science. Sharks: Magnificent and Misunderstood submerges visitors into educational deep sea adventures, featuring digital games and displays that uncover shark science.
Planetarium Shows
Come aboard and take a seat in our full-dome planetarium theater for adventures in space and science. Your group has the option to choose from one of our current shows or from of a variety of shows from our show catalog to suit a group theme or topic.
Our collection of shows focus on a variety of subjects including planetary science, earth science, astronomy, lunar history, and more. All our shows are hosted by trained and knowledgeable operators, often passionate college students working towards their degrees in science and other fields here at the University of Arizona.

| Payment can be made by cash, credit card, or purchase order at the time of check-in and must be done in one transaction. If you have questions about paying separately, please email flandrau@arizona.edu. |
| Groups arriving with fewer than 10 participants will be charged the base rate for their group type. |

| No coupons or additional discounts can be applied to the group visit rates, including but not limited to Museum for All, Flandrau Memberships, ASTC and gift certificates. |

| Cancellation or reschedule requests must be received by email at Flandrau@arizona.edu at least three weeks prior to your scheduled visit date. |
| Cancellation or reschedule requests received with less than a three-week notice will be billed the base rate for your group type. The option to reschedule is dependent on availability. |

To visit science exhibits and see a planetarium show, two reservations are required (ex. Make a reservation for 10AM science exhibits and then another reservation for an 11AM planetarium show).
