SPOOKTACULAR SCIENCE!

Bring your little scientific wizards and witches to Flandrau on Halloween weekend for some hair-raising fun and spooky Halloween activities and demonstrations!

We’ll have various tricks and treats, including chemistry curiosities, spooky arts & crafts, and, of course, our special Halloween laser show, Fright Lights! We're also bringing back the popular seasonal planetarium shows Legends of the Night Sky and Spooky Tucson Sky.

Come in costume to be entered in a special drawing for a free Family Membership ($115 value)!

ACTIVITIES

-Attention mad scientists! Get ready to use the power of electricity to turn rock into metal with this activity (hosted by the Lowell Institute for Mineral Resources)

-Families can observe real animal brains and guess which animal each one belongs to, along with other exciting neuroscience activities (hosted by Neuroscience and Cognitive Science Association of Students)

-Explore shark specimens up close while learning about these fascinating and misunderstood "monsters" of the ocean (hosted by the Marine Awareness & Conservation Society)
