This Tucson Halloween event celebrates the season with a scientific flair! Participate in slimy activities, learn about the Tarantula nebula, and enjoy chemistry curiosities. The planetarium will be open, too, for special, laser light shows. Visit University of Arizona science club tables for special interactives and trick-or-treating while you're here!

Science Exhibits and Spooktacular Activities

12:30PM - Fright Lights!
Witness colorful monsters in this fun and haunting show where classic Halloween hits are choreographed to laser lights. Fright Lights is a ghoulish way to celebrate the season..if you dare!
2:00PM - Laser Halloween
Ghostbusters, Beetlejuice, the Rocky Horror Picture Show's Time Warp, and other songs will have you jumping with fright in Laser Halloween, never before shown at Flandrau!
3:30PM - Laser Stranger Things v.4
A newer version of the popular Laser Stranger Things show is now available to see at Flandrau! Additional songs and imagery have been added, including popular hits from the series like like Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill" and Metallica's "Master of Puppets."

Dive in and learn about spooky marine organisms by making anglerfish hats and coloring deep sea creatures.

Learn about the real-life Tarantula Nebula while trying your skills at the ring toss.

Get crafty when you construct your own artistic spider web and spider!
