Trace holiday traditions across times and cultures, followed by a live star talk, in Season of Light or explore the wonders of the universe in a variety of other shows. Science exhibits are included with your tickets.
Season of Light (show + exhibits ticket)
"Season of Light" is a beloved planetarium show that celebrates the stories behind the coldest and darkest time of year. The show highlights the origins of holiday customs that light up the season, from Yule logs and Christmas tree lights to luminarias and the Hanukkah Menorah. It also weaves in global winter solstice traditions, including Celtic, Nordic, and Hopi stories, along with astronomical occurrences and legends of figures like St. Nicholas and Santa Claus. After the feature, enjoy a short live star talk led by our planetarium operator.
Planetarium show tickets include access to all science center exhibits.

You laser light music show tickets include admission to science exhibits. Tickets are $19 for Flandrau members and $21 for general public. Science exhibits are included with your tickets.
Laser Movie Magic

Laser Elton John

Elton John’s unique blend of pop and rock styles turned him into one of the 20th century’s biggest music icons. What better way to celebrate his musical hits than with laser light accompaniment? Sit back, relax, and let this unique light and sound experience move through you. And don’t worry, you’ll be safe from any flying pianos!
As a bonus to this the special event, all ticket holders will be able to visit our Science Exhibits throughout the evening, open from 6PM - 10PM. Come early to explore our vast and fascinating universe through two floors of exhibits covering marine life, planetary science, insects, and more! Special music and lighting effects will be present in the exhibit halls during these special laser light music nights.

Laser Abba (New!)

Laser ABBA is high-energy fun, featuring vibrant laser projections set to the iconic music of the Swedish supergroup ABBA. Experience timeless hits like "Dancing Queen," "Mamma Mia," and "SOS" in a kaleidoscope of color and light. Get ready to sing along and groove to the infectious beats of this mesmerizing reimagining ABBA's catchy classics!
