The beakers are bubbling again for our annual Spooktacular Science event at the Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium. This Halloween celebration delivers haunted holiday high-jinks for the whole family! 

All the sensationally spooky science happens on Sunday, Oct 27, 12noon – 5pm. Special bargain pricing: $5 Admission, $5 Planetarium Shows.

Spooktacular Science Activities
We’ll have frightfully fun activities from UA student science groups, as well as slippery slime, spooky arts and crafts, and Halloween treats & trinkets! University of Arizona student groups offering activities include the Physics Club, Neuroscience Club, Marine Awareness and Conservation Society (MACS), and others.

Halloween Laser Music Show
We’ll be showing our popular Halloween laser music show “Fright Lights” in the comfort of the Eos Planetarium Theater. You’ll shiver to the sounds of your favorite spooky songs like ThrillerMonster Mash, and Purple People Eater as dazzling laser images dance on the planetarium dome. 

When you visit you can also see one of the amazing planetarium shows in our fall lineup like “We Are Stars” or “Legends of the Night Sky.” These fun, informative shows are perfect for families.

Come in costume and you’ll be entered in a drawing for a free family membership!
