Flandrau Celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11

To celebrate the 50thAnniversary of the Apollo 11 mission when humans first set foot on the moon, Flandrau will host Moon Landing Week starting on Saturday July 13 with Hello Moon Night, and ending a week later on Saturday, July 20 with One Giant Leap Day! We’ll have special planetarium shows, special presentations, activities and exhibits, all about the moon landing and the UA’s important role in the Space Race. Special discount prices, $5 for exhibits and $5 for planetarium shows all week! No other discounts or coupons applicable.

Flandrau’s Moon Landing Week comes to you as part of the UA’s moonfest, a collection of events and exhibits at the University and around the region that were created to celebrate the Apollo 11 moon landing.

Moon Landing Week
For a full week from Saturday, July 13 to Saturday, July 20 (the anniversary day of the moon landing), Flandrau will offer special shows and host special events to commemorate the historic moon landing 50 years ago. The week kicks off with Hello Moon Night on July 13 and culminates with One Giant Leap Day! on July 20.

Special Moon Landing Planetarium Show
During all of Moon Landing Week (and the whole month of July!) we’ll have frequent screenings of a new fulldome planetarium show CAPCOM GO!
