Board Game Day @ Flandrau!

Dec. 15, 2018

Put down your phone and join the fun! Board games bring families together over the holidays. This holiday season, Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium will host a Board Game Day! We’ll provide tables with board games, special reduced pricing from 10am to 4pm, and have games available for purchase, including two games designed by the lead PI for OSIRIS-REx, Dr. Dante Lauretta – Xtronaut: The Game of Solar System Exploration and Constellations: The Game of Stargazing and the Night Sky.

During the holiday season, board games are a great way to get the family together (and pull everyone away from their screens). In fact, board games have been proven to sharpen concentration and critical thinking for kids and adults. They’re also a perfect way for families to play together and bond together, so put down the phones and join the fun!

To celebrate board games, Flandrau will host a Board Game Day on Saturday, December 15, from 10am-4pm.

We’ll also have a variety of board games available to play and to purchase. Plus, visitors can explore our interactive science exhibits and see planetarium shows, including our exclusive holiday shows! We welcome families to play and learn together at Board Game Day!

When: December 15, 10am-4pm

Admission: Special "Board Game Day" pricing, $4 admission, $4 planetarium shows to Flandrau and all exhibits from 10 am to 4 pm. Please note, regular prices for admission and shows resumes at 5pm.
