Flandrau presents, for the very first time, a “domecast” lecture in the Eos Planetarium Theater. This technology transmits a lecture to our fulldome digitial projection system, so that the imagery appears on the entire dome at Flandrau as it is presented “live” (in real time) from the Adler Planetarium in Chicago.
This will be part of the Kavli Fulldome Lecture series produced in partnership with the Kavli Foundation. This lecture is titled “The Cosmos In A Heartbeat” and will be given by Dr. Shane Larson, Research Associate Professor, Northestern Universiy and the Associate Director of the Center for Interdisciplinary Exploration and Research in Astrophysics (CIERA). Admission to this special domecast lecture is only $2!
Cosmos In A Heartbeat lecture description:
In our lifetimes, we will only ever have a glimpse of the cosmos. But that glimpse is enough to transform our perceptions in dramatic ways and to answer the oldest questions we have about what the Universe is doing all around us.
